Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to create a world where every dog is loved, celebrated, and treated like the amazing creatures they are. We’re not just a bunch of dog enthusiasts – we’re on a mission to change the world one tail wag at a time. Whether you’re a proud pup parent, a dog lover in training, or just someone who appreciates a good pooch, we’re here to support and inspire you.
Yes, at Barks in the Park, we have a serious mission: to create a world where every dog is loved, cared for, and treated like the special floof they are. We believe that dogs deserve the best in life, from belly rubs to tasty treats and everything in between. That’s why we’re committed to providing the resources and support that dog owners need to give their furry best friends the life they deserve.
But our mission goes beyond just pampering pups. We’re also on a crusade to promote responsible dog ownership, which means educating people about the dangers of puppy mills and encouraging them to adopt dogs from shelters and rescue organizations. We know that adopting a dog can change a life, and not just for the dog! It’s a win-win situation that creates a deeper, more meaningful bond between humans and canines. Plus, there’s nothing like the feeling of saving a life and giving a dog a forever home.
So join us, fellow dog lovers! Let’s work together to make the world a better place for our furry best friends. Whether you’re looking to adopt a dog, learn more about canine care, or just connect with a community of fellow dog enthusiasts, Barks in the Park is the place for you.

Meet the Team
At Barks in the Park, our team is made up of a diverse group of dog lovers, each with our own unique experiences and stories to share. We’re united by our shared passion for all things canine, but we each have our own furry best friend who has taught us so much about the joys and challenges of dog ownership.
Some of us are proud owners of rescue dogs, while others have purebreds with champion bloodlines. Some of us are seasoned trainers, while others are just learning the ropes. But no matter what our background, we all share a deep love and respect for dogs, and we’re committed to sharing our collective wisdom and experience to help other dog owners give their pets the best possible life.
Here are just a few of our pack members and their pups:
The Doodle Dynamo
Meet Emily – the proud mom of two rambunctious Goldendoodles – Max and Ruby, avid tennis ball thrower, and expert belly scratcher.
She knows firsthand the joys and challenges of being a dog parent, from their unconditional love and hilarious antics to the occasional chewed-up shoe.
Max and Ruby are very different dogs, each with their own unique personalities and quirks.
Max is the older of the two and is more laid-back and mellow. He loves nothing more than a good belly rub and a long afternoon nap in the sun.
Ruby, on the other hand, is the more energetic and mischievous of the pair. She loves to play fetch, and she always finds a way to get into trouble, whether it’s stealing socks or chasing squirrels in the park!
The Bichon Babe
Meet Alison, another member of our pack here at Barks in the Park. Alison is the proud owner of two adorable Bichon Frises named Charlie and Heidi. She first became interested in dogs when she got Charlie as a puppy and was immediately smitten by his bubbly personality and fluffy belly. Later, she decided to adopt Heidi, who quickly won her heart with her sassy attitude and playful antics.Alison’s experience as a dog owner has taught her the importance of patience and consistency when it comes to training and caring for her furry friends. She’s always on the lookout for new tips and tricks to keep Charlie and Heidi happy and healthy, and she loves to share her knowledge with others.
As a member of the Barks in the Park team, Alison brings her passion for dogs and her experience as a loving dog owner to the table. Whether it’s offering training advice or sharing cute photos of Charlie and Heidi, she’s always ready to lend a helping paw to other dog owners!
The Wrinkle Warrior
Emma is one of the dog-loving members of our team who brings a lot of expertise to Barks in the Park. She’s a proud owner of an English Bulldog named Pumpkin, who is always on the lookout for a good belly rub.Emma has been a dog owner for over 10 years, and her experience with Pumpkin has taught her everything from how to clean up slobber to the importance of a good diet for optimal health.

She’s dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership and educating others about the importance of proper care and attention for their furry best friends. Emma’s expertise is an invaluable asset to our team, and we’re lucky to have her sharing her insights and love for dogs with us!
